Rhodonite

Rhodonite varies from a soft rose-pink to a bright flesh-coloured red, with black dendritic inclusions. Rhodonite is usually found in metamorphic rocks associated with other manganese minerals. It is also found in rocks that have been altered by contact metamorphism, hydrothermal and metasomatic processes. The mineral name Rhodonite was named after the Greek word rhodon which means "rose".
