PLANISHING HAMMER
The planishing hammer is not a forming hammer.
This hammer is used to smooth out a piece after it has been formed.
It hardens the metal and helps even out the shape of the piece.
It does not form the piece.
Both faces of the hammer are rounded to avoid the marking that can be made with a flat face.
The head measures 75mm long and the head diameter is 20mm.
