The recent surge in Covid-19 cases in Victoria has demonstrated that this health crisis is far from over. To maintain a safe working environment for our staff and to ensure that we can keep providing great service to our customers our warehouse will remain closed to visitors.
As usual, phone and internet orders placed in advance will be available for pick up at the rear of the warehouse.

Our entire team would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to you - our clients, customers and suppliers for your ongoing support during these difficult times for small business. Our social distancing policies have paid off and we are happy to report everyone here at our showroom and workshop are happy and healthy.
In fact, for the most part, we have been 'business as usual', with the exception of the warehouse not being open for public access. We are feeling positive about what the rest of 2020 will bring for us and welcome some of the eased restrictions in NSW (under guidance of our state officials, of course).
For the foreseeable future we have no plans to allow access to the warehouse because of the chance of asymptomatic infections in the broader community and the risk that this poses to our older and more vulnerable staff members.
Pick-ups remain available at the rear of the warehouse and we will review these measures again at the beginning of July

We highly value the health of our staff, many of whom are in the high risk category if they contact this virus, so we ask you to read this note. Please stay at home if you can.
From Monday March 30:
There will be no public access to the Gemcuts warehouse. Surfaces in the warehouse are being sterilised daily and we cannot risk a random introduction of the virus.
We will only have 2 people working in the warehouse at any one time. Your phone enquiries will be answered by staff working from home and orders can be placed with them.
Orders placed in advance online or by phone may be picked up, but will be delivered to your vehicle. You must organise this when placing the order. Please remember that we have limited staff and they will be busy packing and shipping orders. If you turn up without ordering in advance you may face a lengthy delay while your order is prepared.
No cash will be accepted. Payment must be made in advance or by a contactless card.
Orders placed online or by phone will be packed and shipped as usual. We have plenty of stock of most items and new stock is arriving on a regular basis.
These measures will continue until public health authorities deem it safe.
If any of the following applies to you please stay at home and order by phone or online:
flu-like symptoms such as coughing, sore throat and fatigue
shortness of breath
If you have come in contact with a person with the above symptoms
If you have returned from overseas in the last 14 days
