RING STRETCHER

An inexpensive way to enlarge a simple ring. Place the ring on the expandable mandrel until ring is secure.

Gently tap the tapered mandrel into the hollow mandrel with a mallet until the desired size is obtained.
The top diameter sits at approximately 16mm (K) and the bottom reaches 25mm (Z+++).
This is before the mandrel is inserted and expansion is started. 

Anealing metal regularly is always advised when stretching and forming metal. Slow and steady stretching minimises the chance of metal splitting. Caution must be taken when stretching complex ring with setting and gemstones.
