We have selected this model of calliper for superior accuracy - note that some cheaper models only have an accuracy of +/- 0.02mm. These are constructed with a glass sensor for superior measuring accuracy (+/- 0.01mm). Note the accuracy of the inch measure - to half of one thousandth of an inch - some models do not display the half (small 5 in the lower right corner). They feel comfortable in the hand and are well balanced for easy use.
Handy conversion chart on reverse side of callipers. Note slide displays centimetre and inch marks - not millimetres. Easy 3 button operation - On/Off, Zero and Inch/Metric. Callipers may be set at zero in any position by pressing the Zero button - locking screw on top secures your position.
