This wheel is solid steel with a rounded outer rim coated with diamond particles. The shape of the wheel allows for grinding of gemstones with uneven surfaces and is ideal for carving boulder opal. They are great for getting into those difficult undulations and easier to use than a Dremel.
100mm x 6mm x 25.4 mm bore (4" x 1/4" x 1" bore) 180 grit These products must be used with water. Diamond wheels are excellent for grinding and polishing gemstones and are a fine solution for the machine tool industry for grinding and polishing carbide tools.
