A low cost alternative to sanding cabochons with Nova Wheels. These disks come with a tough resin bonded diamond surface, backed with 6mm of Neoprene Rubber bonded to a magnetic backing. The surface of the disk has enough "drape" when pressure is applied to conveniently remove flat spots on a cabochon.
They are the ideal solution for people that don't have multi wheel machines, or don't have enough space for several wheels.
They will attach to any face plate with a steel surface. If you have an aluminium or wooden face plate you can convert it by permanently glueing a thin steel disk such as an old saw blade to the surface of the face plate.
The disks are changed in seconds, and come in the standard range of 280, 600, 1200 and 3000 Grits. Other grits can be made by special order.
The disks must be used with water as a lubricant.
